Thursday 21st October 2010.
Following the failure of 57603 on the previous nights up sleeper at Penzance, a HST was used on the sleepers. 57604 was attached to the rear of the down sleeper at Paddington to hitch a ride to Penzance. At 14:01, 57604 towing failed 57603 with the sleepers head north through Totnes on the: 5Z70 11:00 Longrock to Old Oak Common. Thursday 28th October 2010.
