66086 heads north with an extended length on the 6C39 16:15 St Blazey to Alexandra Dock Junction. As well as the usual clay and empty fuel tanks, the train conveyed 6 stored Silver Bullets from Burngullow, reported heading for Scotland. After a long cloudy dark day, the sun came out mid afternoon to produce some lovely evening light. Friday 1st September 2011.

47500 hauling 70000 "Britannia" storm westbound through Totnes on the: 1Z92 10:24 Waterloo to Newquay "The Atlantic Coast Express" The train was originally double headed with 34067 Tangmere, but this failed at Taunton and removed from the train, and the Class 47 which was shadowing the tour was attached the front. The train passed Totnes at 18:47, running some 2 hours late.
