The 1934 built Great Western 1366 class Pannier Tank No. 1369 was repainted into current GWR (2017) livery for just one day to celebrate it's last day in traffic before a major overhaul, which will see it out of traffic for around 18 months. 1369 complete with GWR branding stands ready to work the 16:30 Totnes Riverside to Buckfastleigh. 800004 & 800003 arrive into Totnes on: 5X90 05:02 North Pole to Penzance. This was the first daylight run for the Hitachi Class 800's in Devon and the first ever visit of a Class 800 to Cornwall. Thursday 22nd June 2017
66525 top & tailed with 37059 head east through Totnes at 19:40 on Pathfinders 1Z45 16:07 Penzance to Worcester Shrub Hill "The Mazey Day Cornishman." The tour was originally 37059 & 37069 but 37069 failed at Worcester and was left behind. 37059 was low on power so 66525 was put on the front of 37059 for the westbound trip to assist. 37059 was left on the rear on the return working. East Midlands Trains Powercar 43043 on hire to Crosscountry reverses in Totnes to work: 1S51 12:51 Totnes to Glasgow Central. The inbound working, 1V44 06:00 Leeds to Plymouth was over an hour late off Leeds due to the failure of 43303, where 43043 was substituted. By the time 1V44 had reached Taunton it wass still 50 late so the train ran straight into Platform 2 at Totnes and reversed to work 1S51 back to Glasgow. Friday 11th August 2017

57602 hauling the sleeper ECS (Stock: 17175 12142 10219 10616 10612 10594 10589 12161) heads west through Totnes at 14:57 forming: 5C99 10:28 Old Oak Common to Penzance T&RSMD. Tuesday 21st November 2017. The up sleeper on Sunday with 57604 evening failed on Hemerdon. The train was towed back to Plymouth with a Class 08 from Laira where passengers were transferred to an HST (43150 & 43194). On Monday 57603 was sent down light engine from Old Oak Common to Laira to haul the failed 57604 with the sleeper stock back to London for Monday evenings down sleeper service. However 57603 hauling 57604 failed with an air leak near Marley Tunnel on Monday evening, blocking the up line for nearly 2 hours! As a result Monday evenings down sleeper was an HST (43003 & 43023) resulting in Tuesday's ECS move with 57602
